Apple brings new update of iOS 14 for iPhone users. Version of this new software update is iOS 14.2. They have also come up with important updates for Apple Watch, iPad and MacBook. In these updates, they have basically strengthened their security system by eliminating the problem of three ‘zero-day vulnerabilities’. If you are an Apple device user, you should update the system now.
Google’s Project-Zero security team detects security issues on Apple’s iOS 14 platform. They informed Apple about this. Apple then proceeded to fix all these problems. Their recent software update is a result of that.
Along with the iPhone, the Sixth Generation iPod, iPad Mini, iPad Air and other Apple Watch also had the above vulnerabilities. Those who have this problem need to install the latest software update on their device. Older iPhone users, on the other hand, can use iOS 12.4.9. Much of this security problem has been addressed there. In addition, the latest updates such as iPad OS 14.2, Watch OS 5.3.9, Watch OS 8.2.9, Watch OS 8.1, etc., can get rid of this security problem.
Google’s Project-Zero security team basically identified three problems. The codenames are CVE-2020-27930, CVE-2020-27950 and CVE-2020-27932. Through these three security vulnerabilities, various malicious attackers and malware can overwhelm our Apple device. IOS 14.2 and other recent updates are expected to improve the security of our devices.
